farewelltransmission:

I’ve completed work on my photo blog, which is called farewelltransmission:. This new site is an avenue for me to share my favorite and best photographs without anyone having to click through the thousands of images over at Flickr. It will also serve as a portfolio of sorts for my photography and maybe in the future I’ll add the option to order prints, etc. I will be updating the site regularly with new shots and old favorites, so be sure to bookmark the home page or add it to your RSS reader.

The site is titled after the John Vanderslice song of the same name from his album Pixel Revolt. Aside from loving the name, I find the song to be particularly beautiful and haunting; but, the real inspiration I drew from it is how sparse the production and instrumentation feel. I made the site as minimal as possible while still being functional with the hope that it will better highlight the photos.
